Hello, Keepers of Balance!
The Closed Alpha of Batora: Lost Haven is finally out – first of all, congrats to everyone that got in in time to play it, and thank you for believing in this project!
Remember that the Alpha will only be available between July 21st and August 4th: after that, you won’t be able to play it anymore!
Now, since this is not the final version of the game, it might be helpful for you to have some technical information about it and acknowledge some known issues – this may help you get the best possible experience.
The minimum requirements to run the game are the following:
64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10
Processor: I5 4460
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 960
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 20 GB available space
Sound Card: Integrated
Resolution: up to 4K (16:9 aspect ratio monitors)
Since the Alpha will run for a limited amount of time, the “game over” differs from how it will be in the final game.
Whenever you die in the alpha, you’ll keep going on so that you can experience the full alpha without worrying about not being able to finish it!
You might experience some issues with UI navigation – don’t worry, everything’s already being fixed!
The Alpha might not be fully compatible with some hardware configurations.
Resolution and Aspect Ratio
The Alpha is compatible with all resolutions up to 4K, but it is only optimized for monitors whose aspect ratio is 16:9.
Sometimes saving and loading might create some issues.
Enough with technicalities now!
Go play the Closed Alpha of Batora: Lost Haven, enjoy it as much as you can, and make sure to wishlist the game on Steam!
